Apple Cider Donut Ice Cream Sandwich At Massachusetts' Lookout Farm

New Hampshire, I have a very important fall food request for you: We need to get on the apple cider donut ice cream sandwich train.

Because apparently Massachusetts is already doing it!

Belkin Family Lookout Farm in Natick is serving up a fall treat that combines two of my favorite things: apple cider donuts and ice cream. Their Apple Cider Donut Ice Cream Sandwich takes a seasonal cider donut and turns it into the ultimate handheld fall dessert. It’s officially on the farm’s menu, and honestly, I’m wondering why this isn't already a New Hampshire fall staple!?

"For $7.50, you can get a frozen serving of vanilla ice cream wedged between two fluffy, cinnamon-and-sugar apple cider doughnuts" Mass Live says.

Lookout Farm traces its roots all the way back to 1651 and is recognized as one of the oldest continuously operating farms in the United States. The farm has since grown from its roots into a full-blown destination, with apple picking, hard cider, farm-brewed beer and plenty of seasonal food and drinks.

Massachusetts clearly understands that an apple cider donut doesn't have to be eaten straight from the bag.

Trust me, one bite and you'll be mentally frolicking through an apple orchard with a basket in one hand and a pumpkin spice latte in the other.

So, how about it, Granite State? Are we going to bring this fantasy to fruition? No pun intended... although with apples involved, I guess it was inevitable.

The cider donut ice cream sandwich era has officially arrived and I'm ready to participate!
