It's a big win for one Mainer who played the Powerball in October, even though it's not in the billions.

Here in New England, there have been some big lottery winners, and two of those payouts were some of the largest lottery jackpots in US history.

Because one of the 48 participating lotteries was still processing its sales and play data, the drawing could not happen, according to a statement from the Multi-State Lottery Association.

It's the third multi-state lottery ticket worth at least $1 million sold this summer in New Hampshire.

The ticket matched four white balls and and the Power Ball in Saturday's drawing.

One of those tickets is worth $2 million for also including a Power Play with their ticket.

While they may have missed out on millions, whoever purchased a ticket in Portsmouth is up for a huge payday.

Combined with a Powerball winner last week, winnings from the state total three million dollars.
