The Dover Citizen Police Academy Is Coming Again This Fall

(Dover, NH) - The Dover Police Department will again offer a 10-week course, allowing private citizens to get to know what it's like to be a police officer.

The program will feature informative instruction from police officers and other specialized law enforcement related personel

The free ten-week course is offered Tuesdays from 6 to 9 pm beginning October 10th and ending December 12th.

The program is informational only.  You will not get a badge at graduation and you will have no law enforcement authority, but you will have a better understanding and appreciation for our law enforcement community.

The course is open to those over 18 years old who can pass a background investigation.
