Some much-needed relief is coming to NH doctors and nurses in the form of 91,000 in personal protective equipment including masks, face shields, and Tyvek coveralls according to WMUR.com.

I don’t know about you, but before the pandemic, I didn’t even know what “PPE” stood for and now I hear it every day.

My wife even made me my own PPE in the form of a mask (of course she used some Harry Potter fabric!)

The competition among states is high so scoring that much PPE for the State of New Hampshire is a big win.

Governor Sununu said that a census was put out to healthcare facilities to see where the need for such gear is critical first.

Governor Sununu also said in an official statement, per WMUR, “What today is, is a jumping-off point. Not just for the state, but for all the healthcare facilities, all the individuals who can actually start benefiting from getting this PPE. We’re going to get it out the door as fast as we can.”

Much needed for our healthcare heroes that are on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19.

WMUR.com reports that the cost of the shipment was $4.5 million.

Hopefully, we can flatten the curve, so we don’t get hit as hard as New York City. Wash your hands!
