The Sarah Mildred Long Bridge Will Be Closed For A While Saturday Morning

(Portsmouth, NH) - The bridge carrying the Route 1 Bypass over the Piscataqua River will be closed from 9:30 until noon.

The bridge closing coincides with the commissioning of the USS Manchester.

The newest warship in the US Navy will be commissioned during a ceremony at the State Pier in Portsmouth.
