There’s A SWAT Training Exercise In Dover Today

(Dover, NH) - Members of the Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit are spending the day training at a vacant Washington Street home that is scheduled for demolition.

SWAT team members from the Dover, Rochester, Somersworth, Farmington, Milton and other Strafford County Police departments are honing breaching skills with different scenarios presented through the day.

This "bad guy" is expected to endure a long day of flash-bangs and dummy rounds inside the home.

Traffic along upper Washington Street slowed as it passed the activity.

Neighbors had been advised they would see and hear activity from the training through mid afternoon.
