This Barnstead, NH Farm Makes A Whoopie Pie Unlike Any Other
Black Dog Farm is a small family owned farm in Barnstead, New Hampshire. Visitors can pick their own blueberries, veggies, and even fresh eggs!
According to their Facebook page, they have adorable baby goats and some of them even wear sweaters!
Can you even stand it!?
They also have sweet little chicks:
Even turkeys!
In addition to the plethora of wildlife, this farm is also home to some delicious creations. Brad and Jenn came by the radio station last week to drop off a platter of confections, so much for that Summer diet! (haha) They hooked us up with homemade blueberry muffins. I surmised that the blueberries were picked fresh from their farm. They also brought these decadent cookies, I believe they were chocolate chip and macadamia nut. My favorite part of the platter was definitely the carrot cake whoopie pies. HOLY MACKEREL! I have experienced many whoopie pies since moving to Northern New England but this whoopie pie was unlike any other. After a visit to their Facebook page, I realized innovative whoopie pies are kind of their specialty. Check out this S'mores whoopie pie:
nom nom nom! Have you ever been to Black Dog Farm?
