Ava Rose Doris was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. I met Ava when she was just a little kid! My best friend invited me to spend Easter with her family and Ava was her first cousin. I remember how cute and smiley she was in her little Easter dress!

Ava had the ability to light up a room with her smile and the sound of her laugh. She really started coming into her own in High School. She did things 16-year-olds would do. She played lacrosse, loved dogs, and worked after school at Gilford House of Pizza. Two years ago today, she was taken from us far too soon. We'll never get to know the woman Ava would become. But what we can remember her for the person she was. That person was kind, fun-loving, sarcastic and fiercely loyal.

To celebrate the life of this beautiful person, inside and out, there will be a memorial mass held at St. Joseph's Church in Laconia, NH this Sunday, March 17th at 10:30. It's only appropriate because Ava LOVED St. Patrick's Day. More info can be found on the Ava Doris Memorial Fund Facebook Page.

Rest in Peace, Ava. You are deeply missed but never forgotten <3
