(Manchester, NH) - Manchester Health officials say that a mosquito batch collected on September 25th tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), the first positive batch identified in Manchester since 2013.

Health officials say that despite the recent cooler weather, the mosquito season is far from over.

Residents are urged to eliminate any standing water on their property that may be a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and to take precautions against mosquito bites.
