Two Hospitalized After A Disturbance In Portsmouth

(Portsmouth, NH) - One person suffered a stab wound and another a head wound in the early morning melee at Gilley's.

Portsmouth Police were called to Gilley's PM Lunch on Fleet Street just after 12:30 this morning after two groups of males started to fight inside the restaurant. The groups continued their confrontation outside, and when police arrived, they found one man suffering a stab wound.

He was brought to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. He is in stable condition this morning. A second man was treated for a head wound and was later released from the hospital.

Police have been able to identify several of those involved in the incident,  and their investigation continues.
