Uber Offering Ride Service in Portsmouth and Nashua

Perhaps the old fashioned taxi is on its way out and I for one don't mind.

My most recent taxi experience was when I was in need of a ride home from work and I waited... and waited.. and waited. Thirty minutes after the time I'd arranged for pickup, I was told the cab was still two towns away.

Is it unfair that regulations that apply to taxi companies don't seem to apply to services like Uber? Most likely, but the answer is to change the regulations such that they favor these ride service companies as opposed to the old way of doing things.
