Warning: Taco Bell Salsa Con Queso Mild Cheese Dip Has Been Recalled
Another day...another recall of one of my favorite things. Whatever you do...DO NOT eat Taco Bell Salsa Con Queso Mild Cheese Dip...even if it looks good and smells good.
WMUR-TV is reporting the queso is being voluntarily recalled because the product showed signs that it could allow for the growth of the bacteria that causes botulism.
Botulism is potentially fatal form of food poisoning. Symptoms include weakness, dizziness, double vision and trouble with speaking or swallowing, difficulty breathing, abdominal distension and constipation.
The good news is there have been no complaints or illness reported. Let's keep it that way. According to WMUR, Kraft Heinz Company is recalling jars that had “best when used by” dates ranging from Oct. 31, 2018 to Jan. 23, 2019.
Business Wire says if you do have the recalled queso, you can return it to the store where you got it for an exchange or full refund. And if you have any questions call the company at 1-800-310-3704, weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m
