What Are The Best School Districts In America?

Massachusetts has 5 of the top 10 districts listed by the National Council for Home Safety and Security. Only 1 NH School District made the top 50.

Lexington, Mass was 3rd on the list, Westford was 5th, and Winchester, Westwood and Shrewsbury came in at 8, 9 & 10.

Bedford, NH was number 20 on the rankings released Monday. Dresden was the next NH district listed at #104.
Hollis/Brookline, Oyster River and Bow also made the top 500.

The top Maine district was Falmouth at #146.  South Burlington, Vermont came in at #327.

Data was collected from over 95-hundred school districts across the country, with student performance, dropout rates, school funding and poverty rates factoring into the rankings.
