What If You Held An “Open House” And (Almost) Nobody Came?
(Portsmouth, NH) - The Portsmouth Police Department has cancelled the public information session set for Thursday night due to a lack of interest.
Portsmouth Police say only one person had signed up to attend the session, which was intended to allow residents the opportunity to meet Chief Robert Merner, his Command Staff and other department employees.
It was designed as a way for residents to learn about "A Day in the life of the Portsmouth Police Department".
Officials say they home to reschedule an Open House for the fall.
