WOKQ Virtual Sessions: Tonight Eli Young Band

So most of the tours have been cancelled for 2020, but that doesn't mean we can't bring your favorite artists right to your living room!

WOKQ Virtual Sessions, brought to you by Newburyport Bank, continues tonight with the Eli Young Band at 10pm!

Eli Young Band is one of our favorites with big hits like "Even If It Breaks Your Heart", "Love Ain't" and Crazy Girl.

I got a chance to hang out with them a few years back, and even got put in a straight jacket!

The Texas based band just re-released a single they put out in 2016 called Saltwater Gospel.  They put a little twist on it though, with a very special guest...Jimmy Buffet!

The group's James Young tells People.com:

"To have Jimmy Buffett now sing on it was just surreal, the ocean has always been his muse and for him to grace us on this project has been amazing. When I heard him tag 'A Pirate Looks at 40' at the end, it raised the hairs on my arm. "
