According to Security Baron Sandown is the Safest Town in NH
New Hampshire is a great place to live! We have it all. The ocean, Mount Washington, Lake Winnipesaukee, Story Land, the first library in America and so much more! And taxes? Who needs 'em! It is a terrific place to raise a family. Of course when you are considering moving anywhere, ideally you would like to buy/rent property in a safe town with low crime rates.
According to Securitybaron.com, the city of Sandown is the safest in New Hampshire. The site states that the town has a population is 6,000 with a median income of over $100,000. Affluent neighborhoods typically have less riff raff (my words, not theirs). Also the crime rates are super low with .16 violent crimes and 2.67 property crimes per 1,000 residents. That's nothing!
I am a member of the Sandown NH Community group on Facebook. They commiserate about their Amazon packages being delivered to the wrong addresses (which seems to happen quite often) They share photos of their gorgeous Sandown sunsets. And once in awhile someone will post "Hey, I have a spare chicken, is anyone able to give her a happy home?" It seems like a very cohesive and friendly community. I don't live there so I'm not sure why they allowed me in their private Facebook group but I am grateful to be included.
The site also says that Brookline, Litchfield, and Kingston are other top rated towns in New Hampshire when it comes to safety. Laconia, Rochester and Manchester were towards the bottom of the list.
