Bark & Bevy in Enfield, New Hampshire, has closed for good.

The combined restaurant, bar, and indoor dog park shared on its Facebook page the unfortunate news, citing financial struggles as part of the reason for its end.

The business had created a unique offering, the first of its kind in the Granite State, that people and their dogs could both enjoy. Sadly, those customers have to find somewhere new going forward.

When Did Bark & Bevy in Enfield, New Hampshire, Close?

According to a Facebook post, Bark & Bevy closed as of May 31, 2026.

The Enfield spot first opened its doors about four months ago, on January 15, 2026, as a place where you could grab a bite and a drink while your four-legged friend ran around free inside.

That indoor off-leash park was a major draw, offering a safe, fun environment for dogs to enjoy.

Why Is Bark & Bevy in Enfield, New Hampshire, Closed?

As for the reasons for closing?

Valley News reported that the restaurant and dog park said sales dropped off after Mother's Day, making it more and more difficult to make payroll.

In the social media post, Bark & Bevy's owners said, "Timing was not our thing ...
The economy and many other factors have [led] to Bark & Bevy closing. We thank the staff that took a chance. We are saddened that we can’t sustain the business and have impacted others but we are closing our doors."

Sometimes things work out. Sometimes they don't.

But at the very least, the Bark & Bevy owners got to follow their dream and create a "beautiful and welcoming space for the community," even if only for a few months.

That said, while its story has come to an end, the dog bar and indoor park concept may not be the last of its kind to find a home in New Hampshire. There's bound to be another one in the future, right?
