I had to go back to Parkersburg, West Virginia earlier this week for a family emergency. While I was there, I decided to do something positive with my time. I visited my old elementary school and convinced the principal to let me wander the halls for half an hour. And even though I'm a grown-up...I still had to have a hall pass. I guess some things never change!

I attended McKinley Elementary School from 1972-1978. Built in 1903, it's soon to be the oldest school in my hometown. It looks almost exactly the same since I graduated there in the late 70's.
