When she's not producing maple syrup, Kate Stanley of Turkey Street Maples works as a teacher at Madison Elementary School. There, she helped integrate a hands-on maple sugaring experience into the 3rd & 4th grade curriculum.

I attended McKinley Elementary School from 1972-1978. Built in 1903, it's soon to be the oldest school in my hometown. It looks almost exactly the same since I graduated there in the late 70's.
