Next month the New Hampshire Film Festival celebrates it's fifteenth year and the films that will be screened at this year's event were recently announced.

Seacoast Online reports that more than 100 films will be shown when the festival starts beginning on October 15th. Over 10,000 people attend the festival every year. Films will be shown in various locations throughout Portsmouth.

The festival originally began in Derry New Hampshire in 2001 but was moved to Portsmouth because of its appeal as a top city to walk around, adding to the character of the film festival. Seacoast Online reports the festival will hold a kickoff party on September 30th at the Thirsty Moose.
