Construction To Begin On New Portsmouth Parking Garage

(Portsmouth, NH) - A ground-breaking ceremony is set for Wednesday for the new 600-space Foundry Place Garage.

The new garage is being built at the end of Deer Street, the former site of Gary's Beverage.

In May of 2015, the Portsmouth City Council approved a $23.2-million bond to construct the city's second municipal garage.

The public is invited to the ground-breaking at 4 pm Wednesday.
