Did You Get Your Bid Number? The NH Public Television Auction Begins Tonight.

(Durham, NH) - The annual NH PBS Spring Auction gets underway at 6 pm for it's 10-day run.

It all started in 1973 when New Hampshire Network General Manager Keith Nighbert flagged down Katie Wheeler in a Durham parking lot and asked if she would like to start an auction.

45 years later, the annual event is the largest fundraiser for New Hampshire's Public Broadcasting System. 

This years auction runs live on-air tonight through Saturday and again next Wednesday through Saturday,  and continues on-line tonight through May 5th.
