Living in a condo with a 10 month-old puppy certainly presents its challenges. The biggest, making sure he gets enough exercise. Thankfully for Marley, and for me, the Long Hill Dog Park isn't too far away.

Located at the Long Hill Memorial Park in Dover, the dog park features two fenced in areas. One for large dogs, and another smaller area for smaller dogs. Water bowls are provided throughout both areas for thirsty pups. And there's no cost to use the dog park. Funding is provided for the park when you renew your dog's license.

Today was our second visit to Long Hill Dog Park. As you can see by the video, Marley has no problems making friends. And just like at a park for kids, the parents usually stand around exchanging stories about their kids. The only difference here is all the kids have fur, slobber, and sniff one another in places most kids would never do!

I do wish the park had more grass and less dirt. Most of the area is covered in pine needles. It would be great if there was running water to fill the dog bowls. It looks like most people bring water jugs to keep their dogs hydrated after a game of chase or fetch.

Overall though, it's a nice little dog park with lots of parking. Who knows...maybe Marley and I will see you there sometime soon.
