The Dover Farmers’ Market Won’t Be Where You Expect It This Year
If you're anything like me, one of the best parts of summer around is wandering through the Farmers' Market with an iced coffee in one hand and way too many things you didn't plan on buying in the other.
Fresh produce? Yep.
Fresh bread? Absolutely.
Something homemade that you suddenly convince yourself you can't live without? Every single time.
So if you're planning your first Farmers' Market trip of the season, there's one thing you need to know: the Dover Farmers' Market is temporarily moving locations for the start of the 2026 season. Don't worry, it's not going far. (according to the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce)
Because of ongoing construction at Nebi Park, the market will be setting up shop at Lower Henry Law Park beginning Wednesday, June 3. The temporary location is only about a five-minute walk away and sits right along the waterfront, which honestly sounds like a pretty great place to spend a summer afternoon.
The good news? Everything people love about the market is staying exactly the same.

You'll still find local farmers, fresh fruits and vegetables, locally caught seafood, baked goods, prepared foods, local artisans, and live music. It's the same community gathering spot Dover has come to know and love, just with a slightly different backdrop for a little while.
The market runs every Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. throughout the season.
A couple of helpful notes before you go:
- Opening day is Wednesday, June 3
- New temporary location: Lower Henry Law Park
- Hours are 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Metered parking is available near the indoor pool, along Payne Street, and on Henry Law Avenue
- SNAP benefits are accepted, and Granite State Market Match helps stretch food dollars for qualifying shoppers by providing fruit and vegetable vouchers.
Grab a friend, grab the family, walk the waterfront, listen to some local music, and support local farmers and small businesses while you're at it.
The location may be changing for a bit, but the experience that makes the Dover Farmers' Market such a local favorite isn't going anywhere.
