Candy Shop-Inspired Makeup Store Is in Salem, New Hampshire

I have so much respect for entrepreneurs. The ability to dream up a business and then transform that vision into a reality is truly inspiring. And to start a successful business in the middle of a pandemic, well that is just amazing!

Two and a half years ago, Kathy from Fremont, New Hampshire, had an idea to create a makeup line out of her house.

The makeup market is pretty cluttered, so what did Kathy do to break through the noise? Each make up product in the Sugary Cosmetics line comes in a playful and delicious package. These products have brought smiles to so many faces during a time when smiles have been hard to come by.

Both make up and sweets spark joy so it's a pretty genius idea!

Sugary Cosmetics has given us the Banana Spit eyeshadow palette:

and a make up collection completed devoted to bubble gum:

With almost 100,000 followers on Instagram, it's safe to say these products are VERY well received.

So much so that Kathy was able to open a storefront at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, New Hampshire:

Kathy said the creation of Sugary Cosmetics has been a journey filled with ups and downs but she wouldn't trade it for the world.
