I used to be a non-believer of ghosts, spirits, apparitions, whatever you want to call them. But after a recent experience in Portsmouth, I am whistling a different tune.

As you may or may not know, I have a 4 am alarm in order to get to work on time to host Chio and Kira in the Morning. I am usually walking to my car between 4:30 and 5 in the am depending on how slow I am moving that morning. I rarely encounter other humans on my short walk from my building to my car because it is an ungodly hour and most sane humans aren't awake.

On this particular morning a few months ago, I came out of my house and saw a man in a wheel chair sitting in the middle of the road. He was looking up at the traffic light, which was red at the time, and he was yelling something I couldn't understand. I was pretty startled to not only see someone but hear yelling at that hour. I mustered up a smile and said "have a good day". He stopped yelling and just looked at me. I kept walking to my car and about three seconds later I looked behind me and he was GONE. POOF! Vanished! I told my husband this story and he was all "Whoa, you really should drink some coffee before you leave the house, you are having hallucinations"

More ghostly activity seems to be happening in New Hampshire, this time in Danville. Someone recently posted to a community group:

"Question........has anyone ever seen a ghostly figure of a woman walking down Kingston Rd in the early morning hours?"

The story goes that a woman was recently driving to work at 4:35am on Kingston Rd. As she was driving she spotted something and wasn’t sure if it was an animal or a person. As she got closer she realized it was a person so she slowed down as passed them.  The person was pale white and had a white backpack on. She kept her gaze straight and looked pretty troubled. The woman looked in her rearview to get another look and whoever it was wasn't there anymore. She called her husband VERY disturbed.

Other people chimed in in the comments and said they have seen her too. Some believe her to be an apparition and some think she's just a lady who likes to walk at odd hours of the morning/night.

Have you had any ghostly encounters? Tell your story in the comments!
