Huge Construction Project Announced for Tobin Bridge

Starting next Spring, Boston commuters can expect even more delays getting in and out of the city. A construction project that will take approximately three years to complete has been announced.
According to WBZ-TV, the State House New Service announced that the Department of Transportation is preparing to begin a restoration project on the Tobin Bridge.
The MassDOT Board of Directors on Monday approved a $41.6 million contract for J.F. White to conduct deck repairs, structural steel repairs and painting on a portion of the Tobin.
