Monopoloy Announces New Game Pieces

Not too long ago, we told you Monopoly was doing away with the 'Thimble' game piece. Now comes word of two more iconic game pieces that are being retired.

Get ready to say goodbye to not only the 'Thimble,' but the 'Wheelbarrow' and 'Boot' have also been 'booted' from the board game.

The Scottish Terrier, Battleship, Racecar, Top Hat and Cat tokens remain.
Business Wire says the next version of the game will go on sale with the new tokens in the fall.
