More October Snow For Parts Of NH & Maine This Week
Southern areas won't need to plow or snow blow...yet.
On top of recent news where Mt. Washington received close to a foot of snow, we realize the white stuff will be showing up on a regular basis for the rest of us. Much of the Granite State has seen flake or two, but we're still fighting off measuring in inches.
That'll change later this week.
According to NECN, Wednesday low pressure moves in, and brings resulting in scattered rain and snow showers with temperatures reaching into the 40s south and 30s across the North Country. 30's in the North Country, and stretching into northern and central Maine will mean rain showers will become snow showers. Snow will accumulate, mainly in the Pine Tree State. NECN reported potential snowfall totals will range from 2 inches around Greenville, Me to as much as 6 inches the Allagash. The snow reaches its peak around mid-morning and lightens up by the afternoon.
