Most Popular Dog Breed in America is No Surprise

I'm not telling Brandy that the Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix didn't make the list. She would be heartbroken. (Her Mama's not too happy either!)

For those of you that have or know someone that has a Labrador Retriever, you know why for the 26th straight year, the Lab has been voted the most popular purebred in the country.

The AKC (American Kennel Club) says the Lab holds the top spot for 26 record breaking years for several reasons including, it's intelligence and the fact they are family friendly.

The Vice President of the AKC Gina DiNardo does say to 'keep your eye on the Rottweiler, though. It’s been quietly winning hearts over the past decade.'
