Most Ridiculous Excuses For Calling In Sick Include Blaming Nana!

A recent survey revealed some of the lame excuses we use to call in sick from work. One of those excuses included blaming good ol' grandma!

The survey was conducted by CareerBuilder and their respondents shared some of the creative excuses their employees gave for taking a 'sick day:'

'Employee claimed his grandmother poisoned him with ham'

'Employee broke his arm reaching to grab a falling sandwich'

'Employee said his wife put all his underwear in the washer'

Career builder says 38 percent of those surveyed admitted to faking an illness, compared to 28 percent the previous year.
