Dozens killed in Nigeria blasts
Two bombing attacks in Nigeria today have killed dozens of people. Emergency officials and witnesses say four women blew themselves up when challenged by soldiers as they tried to enter the town of Maiduguri, killing at least 18 people. And hours earlier two bombs exploded in a mosque in the town, killing at least 30 people. Boko Haram extremists are suspected of being behind the attack.

Health Care vote today
A state legislative committee is expected to vote today on how much to increase health care costs for the state's 12,000 retirees, in an effort to close a $10.6 million hole in the state's retiree health program. The Joint Legislative Fiscal Committee delayed a decision at last month's meeting.

A body found in the crawl space of a Manchester apartment building has been identified as that of a woman who had been missing since September and whose roommate later killed himself in a motel room in Massachusetts. The state attorney general's office say 57-year-old Sue Hutchinson was strangled with a ligature. Autopsy results confirm her death was a homicide.
