New Exhibit Now Open at The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire in Dover
With spring vacation approaching, a trip to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover should already be on your to-do list. Checking out their brand new exhibit, The Naturalist Study, is just one more reason to make plans!
According to The Children's Museum of New Hampshire, you and the kids will be able to check out "specimens from nature and explore elements from the natural world". Better still, this won't be some static exhibit where you see it once and it never changes (as a Family Membership holder myself, I love this about the museum).
The specimens and associated activities change with the seasons so as to reflect what kids are seeing outside! Some examples given include "bugs and insects in summer, exploring winter weather, and seeds and leaves in the fall.
You'll also find custom display cases that have been built for the more delicate specimens, one of which is the Goblin Shark Skull which just sounds awesome.
A gift from the Little Harbor Charitable Foundation helped make the new exhibit possible. For hours and ticket info, be sure to visit The Children's Museum of New Hampshire at childrens-museum.org.
