Officials Urging New Hampshire Residents to Protect Themselves Before it’s Too Late

The University of New Hampshire's ISS (Information Security Services) announced it had been advised by the FBI of ongoing cyber threats which targets home-based networked devices and home routers.

A simple step can help protect you against this threat. Officials are recommending all small offices and home office routers be rebooted.

It appears hundreds of thousands of home and office routers and other networked devices have already been compromised using malware called VPNFilter.  Authorities say the malware does many things, including information collection, device exploitation, and network traffic blocking.
