Red Sox Fans/ Media Are Freaking Out About Pablo Sandoval’s Gut

This is the gut making national headlines today.

It has to be tough to be in the public eye all the time.  Celebrities have it tough.  Always under scrutiny from the public regarding what they look like-  too skinny, too fat, not enough makeup, etc.  What does it matter what they look like as long as they're doing their job?!?!?

That being said when you're an infielder for the Boston Red Sox, your weight does in fact impact your job directly.  Sports writers have had fun with this Boston Globe photo all day today.

Here's what I say: as long as it doesn't affect his job, as a sox fan I'm not going to worry.  Although I do have to say it doesn't look like he's ready to chase infield hits anytime soon.  I hope I'm wrong about that.
