Remembering A Visit By Senator John McCain To Our WOKQ Studios

(Dover, NH) - One of the great things about working in radio in New Hampshire is the visits by Presidential Candidates every 4 years.

Senator McCain was here in early 2000, just before the NH Primary. Somewhere in my archives is the tape of his "Reporters File" interview.

I may not have always agreed with his politics, and questioned his choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008, but I have always admired and respected Senator McCain for his service to this country.

He was, and will always be, a true American hero.
