Ruth Bader Ginsburg Honored With Ice Cream Flavors In Western MA

An ice cream shop in Northampton, MA is honoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg with three new ice cream flavors on their menu.

Masslive reports that Herrell's Ice Cream named the flavors after the late Supreme Court Justice and Feminist Icon to celebrate her life.

I'm from Western Mass and my family still lives there, so I can attest to the deliciousness that is Herrell's Ice Cream!

The new flavor names are Ginsburg Snap, Legendary RBG, and Women's Empowermint!

Ginsburg was so popular that she got the nickname the "Notorious RBG".  One of my favorite movies of the past year was "On The Basis Of Sex".  I definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.  It's all about Ginsburg and her beloved husband Marty, and her journey to becoming one of the most important women in history.

So, if you feel like taking a leaf peeping trip, Northampton,MA may be a great place to stop and try out one of these three new flavors!
