Secrets Revealed: How Tom Brady Stays Healthy
If you've ever wondered how #12 stays in such great shape, you're about to find out his secret weapon...
It's his personal chef, Allen Campbell. If you have the money, you too can have a personal chef prepare all your meals and not worry about shopping for groceries.
Campbell met Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele in Miami and began working as their family's personal chef. Campbell says 80% of what the Brady clan (including their children) eat is vegetables. Campbell says, '[I buy] the freshest vegetables. If it’s not organic, I don’t use it. And whole grains: brown rice, quinoa, millet, beans. The other 20 percent is lean meats: grass-fed organic steak, duck every now and then, and chicken. As for fish, I mostly cook wild salmon.'
Brady does not eat mushrooms, eggplants or peppers because they are not anti-inflammatory. Campbell says a tomato may find it's way into a meal, 'maybe once a month,' but he's very careful about not using tomatoes due to the fact they cause inflammation. Also, No coffee. No caffeine. No fungus. No dairy.
More power to you, Tom!
Thank goodness I'm not a record-breaking, future hall-of-fame star quarterback in the NFL. I need my coffee, caffeine, dairy and junk food.
