Snow Removal Means Downtown Parking Bans Tonight

(Dover/Somersworth, NH) - City crews have barely rested up from their long shifts during this weeks Nor'Easter, and there is a possibility of more snow coming early next week.

The crews have been pressed into service tonight to clean the latest-fallen snow from sidewalks and parking lots in the downtown areas to make way for the possibility of more to come.

Dover crews will work from 11 pm until 6 am Friday along Central Ave, Main Street, Third Street and in the area of City Hall.

Somersworth crews will be working in the  High Street/Market Street area from 10 pm until Friday at 7 am.

Vehicles parked in those areas during the clean-up operation face tickets and will be towed at the owners expense.
