Sports Authority to Close Stores Quicker Than Originally Planned

It appears Sports Authority will be closing their remaining stores earlier than originally expected.

Better get in on the deals while you can. Earlier this year Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy. In the announcement, they revealed they were closing 140 stores including, Nashua NH, Framingham, Mass and Danvers Mass.

The company predicted the stores would stay open through the summer, however, the chain has now reportedly told some employees they hope to have things wrapped up by the end of this month.Good news for shoppers looking for back-to-school deals. Bad news for employees who thought they would have a job all summer.
