The morning after the season premiere of Game of Thrones, we were visited by fellow Game of Thrones super-fan Stefanie Jasmine. She wrote a special song for us.

The past several weeks have been rough for the WOKQ staff.

We have all heard the expression 'this guy wears many hats around here.' Well, Roy Sullivan took that expression quite literally.

I guess the performance bug runs deep in Roy's family because by all accounts a star is born.

As you can expect, it’s been an eventful and yes emotional day here at WOKQ/WPKQ. If you missed this morning’s announcement, Mark Ericson is leaving the Morning Waking Crew to take a job with our parent company Townsquare Media as Regional Technical Manager.

Well, the MWC would have been hosted by these people if Roy, Karen, and I went by our country names.

Maybe it's a sign of spring, or just a case of being in the right place at the right time. As I was going by the Fox Run Mall In Newington last night I noticed how nice the sunset was.
