If you're like many people who take their dogs for a walk along the beach, please be careful. Authorities say 14 dogs have been sickened and one has died after ingesting 'treat-like' items found along Rye Beach.

As if it wasn't bad enough for spectators to see a dead whale wash ashore at Jenness State Beach earlier this week, they also had to witness crews attempting to lower the carcass into a dumpster and failing miserably.

Hey, you have to enjoy these days while they last. This weather isn't going to last forever.

Expect some coastal flooding and dangerous rip currents over the next couple of days, thanks to Tropical Storm Jose.

The beach is my happy place. When I'm stressed or just need to get away from it all, I head to the beach.
