Ask a New England Patriots fan, "What's the greatest city in the country to be an NFL fan," and faster than they can order a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts, they'll get right in your face as if your hard of hearing, and screech "Boston, baby. Tom Brady, baby."

So this is going to sting just a little Patriots fans. According to a new study done by WalletHub, Boston is NOT the greatest city in the nation to be an NFL fan. That honor goes to my favorite NFL team...The Pittsburgh Steelers!

WalletHub looked at a lot of different factors to make their determination. They took a look at ticket prices, attendance, winning percentage, and Super Bowl victories. After running it through their super high-speed computers...or however they did it...the Steel City topped the list.

But before you get yourself in a twist Pats fans...Boston was number two. They speculate that ticket prices may have something to do with that. After all, New England has the second highest priced tickets in the entire NFL. But hey, I guess ya gotta find a way to pay The GOAT's salary. Another factor my be the location of Gillette Stadium. It's about 20 miles outside of Boston, so that kind of hurts too.

The rest of the top 5 line up like this:

3. Green Bay
4. Dallas
5. New Orleans

By the way, just in case you're wondering where the Patriots Super Bowl opponents for this Sunday's game rank...Los Angeles is number 22.
