Top 10 Worst Cities to Live in New Hampshire
Using data and opinion, a website has ranked the ten worst places to live in New Hampshire and three of them are right in our backyard!
Roadsnacks.com is the author of this list and reminds it's readers at the start of the article, that "This article is an opinion based on facts and is meant as infotainment. Don’t freak out."
Using statistics, like crime, population density, education, etc they mined from 54 of New Hampshire's most populated cites they came up with this list:
- Berlin
- Franklin
- Rochester
- Belmont
- Somersworth
- Manchester
- Laconia
- Wakefield
- Alton
- Claremont
Immediately what sticks out at me is our neighbors Rochester, Somersworth, and Manchester.
3. Rochester
Poor Ro-town. The Lilac City makes it all the way to number three because of the high crime rate. If you're a resident in Rochester you apparently have 1-23 chance of being the victim of a property crime. The Rochester Fair
5. Somersworth
Rochester's neighbor to the south is only two spots away and is also considered a dangerous city by statistics. I know a lot of good listeners in Somersworth so I'll hold out on judgement.
6. Manchester
Manch-vegas is the largest city in New Hampshire and is probably the reason why it gets a bad rap. More people, more chance of something going wrong. At least that's my take.
