UNH Wildcats: Here Are 10 of the Best Restaurants in Durham, New Hampshire
Before you know it, college students will be returning to campuses for the spring semester, if they haven't already.
The largest college in the state, the University of New Hampshire, resumes classes at their Durham campus on the 24th. With a current enrollment of over 14k undergraduate and graduate students according to the UNH website, the town of Durham is sure to be filled with young adults getting used to their new schedules, reuniting with friends, and of course, going out for a bite to eat.
As a recent UNH alum, this writer wants to help make others, both students and locals, aware of the many dining options that downtown Durham has to offer. Sometimes, the Holloway Commons dining hall has delicious monkey bread or the beloved ice cream bar, in which case it's your moral obligation to drop everything and eat your next meal there (we're sorry, we don't make the rules). And of course, there's always late nights at Philbrook, which are a favorite. That said, the time will come when you're not feeling the dining hall vibes for whatever reason, and want to grab something else from downtown.
There are plenty of dining options to choose from in Durham, whether you're looking for a quick bite in the morning, a hearty lunch in the afternoon, or takeout for dinner. Some of these places are frequented spots that everyone knows, while others may be unfamiliar to you. So, let's take a look at 10 of the best restaurants in Durham.
