We have done our fair share of virtual WOKQ Sessions during the pandemic. But nothing beats being in the same room as the artist while they perform live music and sharing that experience with the people you love. It is an energy that cannot be replicated!

That is why we are super excited to bring Live WOKQ Sessions back for the first time since BC (before corona), and it's all thanks to our friends at Newburyport Bank.

For our first Sessions AC (after Corona) we are thrilled to welcome a super talented up and comer and all around nice dude, Nate Barnes.

Perhaps you have heard his single "You Ain't Pretty" on WOKQ!

What a voice!

Listen to Chio and me weekday mornings to win your way into our WOKQ Sessions this Thursday at 1 pm.

In the past, we have welcomed Lo Cash, Tenille Arts, Dylan Scott, and many more to the WOKQ Sessions stage. It is a real treat to see these artists perform in such an intimate space.

You get to ask them questions, take photos with them, and when you leave you feel like you made a new best friend! It is thrilling watching their careers take off and then you get to say, "Hey! I remember watching them perform with 15 other people and now they sell out big 'ole venues!"

Oh, and did I mention lunch is included in this experience? (PIZZA!) It is basically the best day ever!

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
