What Laconia Bike Week Really Means For New Hampshire
It's the 96th annual Laconia Motorcycle Week! According to WMUR, the event is said to pull in over $100 million in revenue for the state of New Hampshire. The staff at the Broken Spoke Saloon and Museum say they make ten times what they would normally make during bike week and most of it is in merchandise. Also, the NASWA Resort will make 10% of their yearly profits during the nine days of motorcycle week.
This puts the Granite State in a good economic position for the Summer before the Summer officially kicks off!
So if the loud engines of the motorcycles start to irritate you, just remember that this week is a great economic push for our state. And might I suggest a pair of earplugs? I hear they do wonders!
