Aren't we all looking for happiness?

The obvious answer is yes.

Happiness is undoubtedly an inner thing. If YOU want to be happy, YOU have to figure out what brings you happiness.

Oftentimes, your surroundings bring you the most happiness: your friends, family, pets, etc. The people you surround yourself with can make or break your happiness.

But it is more than just people. WHERE you are is just as important as who you are with.

To that idea, there are different levels of happiness in each state. The state that you live in can drastically affect your happiness levels.

To determine where Americans are the happiest, Wallet Hub examined the 50 states across 30 key metrics, ranging from "good economic, emotional, physical and social health ... the depression rate and the share of adults feeling productive to income growth and the unemployment rate."

And the happiest state in the country goes tooooo..... UTAH.

Utah has the most volunteering, the fewest worked hours per week (must be nice), and the lowest divorce rate.
