What You Need to Know Before Buying Girl Scout Cookies

If you're like me and look forward to the yearly ritual that is Girl Scout cookie season, you'll need to read this. 

Whether you prefer, Thin Mints, Do-Si-Do's, Caramel Delights or Tagalongs, be prepared to dig a little deeper into your wallet come cookie time. That is, if you live and/or order your cookies from Massachusetts. NECN reports that The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts will increase the price of a box of Girl Scout cookies to $5.

But, here's the good news...I contacted the The Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains to confirm whether they'll be increasing their prices as well. Here's their response:

The Massachusetts price increase goes into effect with the start of the 2015-2016 season. (which begins in December)
