Seriously, how is poutine not an American staple? It's a bit of a wonder to me, really. The ingredients alone suggest it would be: french fries, gravy and cheese! Instead, it is something of a novelty even with our proximity to it's native Quebec. That said, at least you can find it around here if you know where to look and you really should look (somewhat unrelated, poutine and nachos sharing a table with beers is a magical combo). My plateful at The Thirsty Moose in Dover this past weekend was great, but I ask you this: who has the best poutine?
